I invite you to follow me along the coastal trails of Le Robert. You will discover a shaded forest and unspoilt landscapes. You will walk along the swamps and mangrove to emerge onto the little-known public beach of Pointe Banane. You could also, why not, enjoy a boat trip in small groups, visit the mangrove of Pointe Melon, admire the iguanas of Ilet Chancel and take a swim in the white sands of Ilet La Grotte. This charming 2-room guesthouse is very recent. It is attached to the owner's villa but remains entirely independent. Located in a quiet, residential area of Pointe Savane in Le Robert, with sea views 200m away. Ideally situated in the centre of Martinique, halfway between the tourist beaches of the south and wild Martinique of the north. Ti Colibri in Le Robert welcomes you with a different approach to what you are usually offered. At "ti colibri", you will be lulled in the evening by the sound of the waves and the trade winds rustling through the banana leaves. We offer you all the comfort you could expect: - Fully equipped kitchen with hotplate, oven, microwave and dishwasher. - Fully air-conditioned. The bedroom is equipped with a 140cm bed and a wardrobe. - Bathroom with walk-in shower and washing machine. - Covered deck offering a wide view of the sea and surrounding hills, with complete privacy. - So you can travel lighter, we provide bed linen, sheets, towels (NOT beach towels), tea towels, etc... (see house rules). - Bed linen changed regularly every week. - In case of a late arrival of your flight, a light meal will be left for you to eat in the evening as well as for breakfast the next morning. --- Nearby activities are plentiful: - Kayak rental, allowing you to visit the famous islets of Le Robert. - Walking trail 200m away, leading to the small isolated beach of Pointe Banane. - Tourist boat/catamaran departures from Le Robert town for full day or half day trips. They can be privately chartered. - La Trinité beach 10 mins away. As well as the picturesque beaches of Tartane and a well-known surf spot 15 mins away. - Many other cultural or sporting activities, and attractions are spread throughout the island (water sports or hiking) --- At the exit of the Pointe Savane residential area you will find a Carrefour shopping centre with a few shops, pharmacy, general practice surgery, dental centre, hairdresser, gym, organic shop, frozen food store, Gifi and Intersport; as well as the covered market and more typical traders in the town itself. Directly on the port you can buy fresh fish, depending on arrivals. Véronique and Vincent will always be on hand to give you tips, excursion ideas or any other practical information.
