We collect the following data:

• Identification data: name, email address, phone number
• Connection data: IP address, browser type, cookies
• Transaction data: bookings, payments, history
• User content: reviews, messages, photos

Your data is used for:

• Account management and service access
• Processing bookings and payments
• Booking-related communications
• Improving our services and statistical analysis
• Meeting our legal obligations

The processing of your data is based on: contract performance (bookings), your consent (marketing), our legitimate interests (service improvement) and our legal obligations.

Your data may be shared with: hosts (as part of a booking), our payment providers (Mollie), our technical providers (hosting, email) and, only if you accept marketing cookies, Meta Platforms Ireland (Meta pixel and Conversions API: pages viewed, browser identifier, IP address, browser and, for some actions such as sign-up or booking, hashed email, phone number and name), to measure and deliver our ads. We never sell your personal data.

Avis et contenus publiés

Lorsque vous publiez un avis sur un restaurant, un hébergement ou une activité, votre pseudonyme et le contenu de votre avis sont publics et accessibles à tous les visiteurs d'Hozy.

Si vous supprimez votre compte, vos avis ne sont pas supprimés mais anonymisés : votre pseudonyme est remplacé par « Voyageur Hozy » et le lien vers votre profil est retiré. Cette anonymisation préserve l'intégrité des notes moyennes affichées sur les fiches. Si vous souhaitez la suppression complète d'un avis spécifique, contactez-nous via contact@hozy.co.

Your data is retained for the duration of your registration and up to 3 years after your last activity on the platform, unless otherwise required by law.

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

Hozy uses cookies essential to the site's operation. Audience measurement (Umami, self-hosted) sets no cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable data. Marketing cookies (Meta pixel) are only set with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

The Hozy app (iPhone and Android) also processes the following data:

• Location: used only if you allow it, to centre the map, show nearby places and guide you to a place. It is sent to our servers to compute these results, without being stored in your account. On iPhone, directions are computed by Apple Maps (Apple).
• Notifications: if you accept them, a technical identifier of your device is stored to send them to you, via Expo and Apple's and Google's notification services. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your phone's settings.
• "New places" notification: the city comes from your latest activity on Hozy (photo, favourite, booking), never from your location.
• "For you" recommendations: they are computed from what you have already done on Hozy (places you photographed, rated or saved to your lists). No additional data is collected for this, and only you can see them.
• Audience measurement: screens viewed and actions (for example starting directions), with no personal identifier and no advertising, via Umami, which we host ourselves.
• Error reports: if the app crashes, technical information (device model, app version, error trace) is sent to Sentry, on servers located in the European Union, without your name, your email or the content of your messages.
