How do I book a stay?

Pick your destination and dates, select the stay you like and click "Book". Follow the secure payment steps via our partner Mollie. A confirmation is sent to you by email immediately after booking.

How do I cancel a booking?

Go to your personal space, "My bookings" section. Click the booking and then "Cancel". Cancellation conditions vary per stay and are always shown before booking. If in doubt, email us at hi@hozy.co.

How do I contact my host?

Once your booking is confirmed, open the built-in messaging from your personal space. You can chat directly with your host for all practical matters: arrival, keys, local recommendations.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Hozy accepts credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), Bancontact and the main local payment methods. All payments are fully secure.

Hosts & Organizers

How do I publish my stay?

Click "Become a host" from the homepage. Create your profile, fill in your stay details (photos, description, amenities, rates, availability) and submit. Our team reviews each listing before publication to guarantee experience quality.

How do I manage availability?

From your host dashboard, open the "Calendar" section. Block dates, set prices per period and manage bookings in real time.

How are payouts handled?

Payments are processed directly by Hozy. The booking amount, minus Hozy's commission, is paid out automatically on the schedule set during onboarding. A detailed invoice is generated for every transaction.

What are Hozy's commissions?

Hozy charges €0 host commission. A 10% traveler commission applies only on a booking. No signup fee, no monthly subscription.

How does the tourist tax work?

If your municipality requires a tourist tax, enable the option in the "Pricing" section of your listing (amount per person per night). Hozy automatically collects the tax at booking and transfers it to your account along with your regular payout. A 10% commission is retained on the tax (same rate as the rest of the booking, consistent with our platform model). You remain the legal taxpayer and must remit the net amount to your municipality per local rules. The breakdown (collected / commission / net to remit) appears in your dashboard and every booking email.

Experiences & Events

How do I book an experience?

Browse the "Experiences" section and pick the activity. Choose your date and number of participants, then proceed to secure payment. You'll receive a confirmation with all practical details.

How do I publish an event?

From your organizer dashboard, click "Add an event". Fill in the key info: title, description, date, venue, price and photos. Our team reviews each event before publication.
