If you love nature, rustic charm, tranquillity and a change of scenery, you are welcome with us! We offer 1 rustic bungalow of the "creole house" type: Bungalow Mathilde Bis has an area of 60 m², an open-air kitchen, a covered terrace equipped with sun loungers and a dining area leading to a swimming pool. This bungalow has 2 large air-conditioned bedrooms, a small lounge and a shower room/WC. The bungalow can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. There is no sofa bed. Our site is entirely non-smoking, set in natural surroundings and facing the sea. There is a garden that is both flower-filled and wild, covering approximately 2000 m². Barbecues are not permitted; we conserve energy and recycling is mandatory. For longer stays (more than 2 days), a washing machine is available in the bungalow; laundry service is not provided. A traditional coffee maker and a capsule coffee maker are available, as well as household linens, a microwave and a traditional oven. WiFi connection is available in the common areas. Photography or publication of our site without our authorisation is strictly prohibited. We are welcoming, empathetic hosts who enjoy good company and friendly exchanges. We value open-mindedness, objectivity and we listen to constructive suggestions. As long as requests are reasonable and in line with our house rules, we will do everything we can to find a solution. Good humour and respect are always the order of the day with us. Our site is unique and unlike any other, and we ask our guests to adapt to our environment. Why is this municipality called Bouillante? Because we have boiling hot springs in the sea. These springs allow us to produce electricity; we even have a geothermal power station. There is the renowned hot spring at Thomas (5 minutes from Bungalow Mathilde Bis), which is very popular and well-visited. There is Petite Anse beach, Malendure beach and the Cousteau Reserve. You can go diving or discover the underwater world with a glass-bottomed boat. Towards the town of Bouillante, there are good restaurants. The Grand Market of Basse-Terre will introduce you to all the local produce. Guadeloupe is truly a magnificent island with plenty to do and see.
