Le Phoenix is an atypical and comfortable house for up to 18 people: Evenings by the fireplace with friends & family, walks & cycling in a natural park. Cook and enjoy meals together, visit Le Corbusier's Chapel, a UNESCO World Heritage site, skiing & climbing at Planche des Belles Filles, tree-top adventures at Ballon d'Alsace, enduro motorbike / mountain bike sessions... This former stone house with its garden is comfortably furnished. It is constantly being improved for your comfort. The 5 bedrooms and large dining tables can accommodate up to 18 guests. This Phoenix is being reborn, little by little. Not everything is perfect yet, but everything is done for your comfort. The house offers everything that makes a group stay a real pleasure: two wood-burning stoves that provide cosiness and warmth, heat pumps in each room for winter, a garden with a large barbecue, a campfire. And don't forget: A baker opposite for croissants and baguettes at breakfast. This renovated old building with character is organised as follows: An entrance serving 2 areas... Left side: a large dining room that can accommodate around twenty people. A massive staircase will lead you to a small mezzanine lounge and 2 bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed, 2 bunk beds, a trundle bed and a single bed (1 extra mattress available). A second bedroom with a double bed with a bunk single bed and another single bed. The bathroom equipped with toilet and bathtub is just opposite the bedrooms. Right side: bathroom (shower + bathtub + toilet), comfortable lounge, 2 sofa beds, fully equipped and newly renovated kitchen. You will find everything you need during your stay, including raclette and fondue sets. You have access to a storage area where you can store bikes / skis if needed. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. Behind the house, a magnificent forest begins directly. In front of the house runs a road limited to 30km/h. You can easily park 3 vehicles. Free parking is available across the street. A barbecue and its utensils are at your disposal (bring charcoal). Just a stone's throw from the ski slopes in winter or mountain biking trails in summer, this house is ideal for groups or families. You will be welcomed by your host who will explain how the house works. Your beds will be made, toiletries will be provided. Waste sorting is practised.
