La Matta

About

La Matta is the brainchild of Jeronimo Moreira: a passionate chef trained among the vineyards of Douro, the kitchens of Rome and the tables of Paris. Settled in Oreye for love, he has created a place in his own image: lively, generous and authentic. The specialty? Contemporary Neapolitan pizza, an airy, high-hydration dough topped with ingredients selected for their true flavour. On the trattoria side, simple and flavourful Italian dishes that evoke memories of southern escapades. Family-friendly and brimming with good cheer, La Matta whisks you away to Italy for the duration of a meal. One motto only: enjoy.
