Romantic Room with Village and Mountain View

Warm and welcoming, the Serre d'Arène room at La Méridienne invites you to a peaceful stay with complimentary breakfast. Located on the upper floor of our guesthouse, it offers views of Mount Cuerate, which can be explored on hiking trails departing directly from our property. Spanning 17 m², the Cuerate is decorated with a touch of romance whilst retaining the spirit of the village of Venterol. The 140x190 cm double bed promises gentle and restorative nights after a hike or simply a swim in our heated outdoor pool, open from mid-June to end of September. The private bathroom, with shower, WC and toiletries, is designed for your comfort. A courtesy tray with small treats is available. A peaceful and verdant setting We are situated at 1000 metres altitude in a small village, and your arrival will offer stunning final views of our surrounding mountains. The Serre d'Arène room provides access to a lush garden where you can relax and enjoy the sun. You can also enjoy the heated outdoor pool (open from mid-June to end of September) to cool off during hot days. Local products for dinner and refreshment We offer a hosts' table in the evening to make the most of your evening. Dinner is prepared by Valérie with local produce and consists of an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, all accompanied by a glass of wine for €29.50 per person. At the end of dinner, coffee or herbal tea will be served. We also offer local beers from Sisteron to refresh you after your day.
